We had team debriefs this week where we talked about the highs, lows, something fun, and areas we can grow (aka high, low, buffalo, grow) from training camp and domestic ministry at SharpTop Cove. We did that in three categories which were intimacy (our personal relationship with the Lord), community (with the squad and our team), and mission (the ministry we did).

We had worship lead by a different squad each morning along with a session/message taught by one of our squad mentors. And since we have been getting ready to launch, we have to do a LOT of campus cleanup to get it ready before we leave. So there has been lots of cleaning, laundry, and packing up. We also had nightly activities with the squad, we did a get to know you bonding night, watched the movie “Free Burma Rangers”, had worship night, and a fight night where a couple of us watched the UFC fights (I did in fact spend 4 1/2 hours watching this, don’t ask me why. Colton is gaslighting me into thinking it was worth it HAHA).

Our adventure day was on Thursday which was a lot of fun! We went to the German town of Helegna where there was a mountain coaster, lots of shops, restaurants, mini golf, and a river. I ended up playing mini golf with some people and got a hole in one, yayyy. And then we got ice cream as a squad, YUM. After spending a few hours in the town, we went to the lake and swam, ate pizza, and hung out. It was super fun and the sunset was so so pretty. There were a bunch of logs and sticks around that the boys gladly threw around, because ya know, why not I guess.

Last day in Georgia! Today we had sabbath and I called family and friends, ordered Taco Bell, did some campus cleanup, and eventually had to say bye to the other squads:( I had to say bye to one of my best friends, Maya, and that was really hard but I’m so so excited to see where she is gonna go. All of the squads and people are going to do such big things with the Lord this year and I can’t wait. After our goodbyes, we headed out to the airport, where we are spending the night and then leaving for Nicaragua in the morning! So if you want to contact me, please text me over WhatsApp:) 720-338-3449
