During ministry this week, I went to the hospital and met a man who was handcuffed to his bed with the police outside the door. We got permission to talk with him and learned that he knew Spanish, English, and German. He had been incarcerated since he was 21, now he is about 54 (I think he said) and has two more years left. We talked to him about his life, how he was a boxer, and he told us how he basically believes in God but doesn’t follow him. It was an interesting conversation, but I’m so glad we got  to talk with him. On a be of our prayer walks this week, we went to this elder lady’s house who lived with her son, and told us she didn’t often get visitors so she was glad we stoped by to talk with her.

We also had set aside time this week for intercession, we prayed over Nicaragua (the people, government, staff, locals) and Julio (one of the people on staff for the ministry who is fighting cancer right now). And we do  worship every morning for half an hour before ministry. Microchurch was great this week, we had four new girls that we met that day and invited them! Hopefully they liked it and come back next week!

There’s a tropical storm in Latin America right now, so it has been DUMPING rain for three straight days. My laundry is not doing well haha. On Thursday, we went out for prayer walking and it started pouring rain so when we got back to the farm we rain around in the rain with the local kids haha. We played barefoot soccer in the grass, completely fell on the field, and I also got thrown multiple times into the gigantic puddles forming haha. It was so much fun though. Friday we did ministry in our teams but it was raining, so we did worship and prayed over each other.

We had squad time game night where we played things like pickleball, mofia, and monopoly deal. We also watched lots of movies this week during the tropical storm. We watched interstellar which I think is the best movie I have ever seen ever, and I watched it for the first time this week haha. We watched like four more movies as well over sabbath and adventure day. Random funny thing- we were out prayer walking and I got stopped walking back, and a lady asked to take a picture of me because I’m Chinese haha.
